Been reading through alot of the popular sites on tweaking xp for audio and finding some of them a little confusing. If anyone has any sites or files that show a step by step procedure in tweaking xp for audio it would be greatly appreciated.
Just curious, most of the xp users here, have youz tweaked xp? or isnt there much difference if installation is standard?
will i get similar quality and performance if i dont tweak?

Yep used some fine tweeks.. like desabling all unused serviçes, net stuff, games, etc... works much better... ALso I use one WIn XP in a diferent partition JUST 4 music (the one where I did all the tweaking)!!!
PS- I ended up using the normal fat 32 instead of ntfs, ... 2much arguments from each side of the barrier so I figure there ins't that much of an absolute certainty if this is really better or not!
