Lau, that was superb.

Didn`t really dig this. Couldn`t pick out any of the original samples, and the track didn`t seem to have much drive.Originally Posted by Ritzi Lee

to hear that from you it must be a big compliment for me processing the sounds that well that you can't recognise your own samples. :lol:Originally Posted by dirty_bass

Anyway, it's not a written rule that I have to specifically use your drumsamples, if I can make it myself. The only characteristic tunes i've heared from your parts are the noisy synths, and ofcourse the voice. But didn't dig the voice very well, so left it out.
About the drive:
Are you serious there is no drive here??
I'm puzzled.

By no drive, I mean no momentum to the beat.
The hats are stright with no swing to them, and the rest of the beat is just the kick. I prefer more than just boom-tish in me techno.
That`s not to say people that are into the more marching type techno wouldn`t appreciate it.
And I also have strong opinions about remixes.
I think they should contain recognisable parts of the original, otherwise it just becomes an original track rather than a remix.

Because we could mention countless examples of remixes,
where the sounds are processed that extreme, that you can't
pick out the origin anymore. Especially with hard techno and dark atmospheric techno.
I did a remix for a German label _Rohformat.
The track I had to remix had a real characteristic bassline.
That was the thing to use in the remix. The rest of the drums and stuff was all myself.
