I think with techno, the notion of the remix has got silly.
It`s a cost efective way of getting extra tracks onto release etc.
But in some cases, the remixers just blow off with their own ego and make totally original tracks. In my eyes this isn`t a remix at all. If the original samples are no longer recognisable in any form, then there is no audible link to the original track, so what is the point?
Some people take it as a way of just showing their skills and mashing up shit. I think it actually shows less skill. To effectively and intelligently rework the samples you are given into a new version that still has the feel and elements of the original, is real skill.
However with some remix jobs, you are given so little to work with that it makes the job difficult.
I`ve been asked to do remixes and have been given like, 2 samples and shit, so I just ended up not doing it.
    Solitary by nature.
    Isolation is the gift.
Does anyone have courage to stand apart any more?

    You sendit.com im afraid mate

Loving working on this their is somthing to cover all the freaqs in the sounds provided ;) which gave me an insight in to what I should be using in future projects so thanks for that.

Still needs a few vital sounds somthing to compliment the metal hit perhaps(witch is basicaly the lead at the moment)
And need to do somthing with the vocal regarding timing and perhaps some sort of effects proccessing.
Also theres not enuff movment after the break.

Anyway hope you like so far will finish this week ;)

Just to clear up this comment. It`s not aimed at you ritzi, more just how remixes have changed within the techno genre to their current accepted state.

heres my track and loop pack for rmxing

    http://www.chrome-metronome.net/rhythmtechnologies/rhythm_technologies_vs_J&A-rock_ya_body_(rtec_mix).mp3 << track

    http://www.chrome-metronome.net/rhyt...body_loops.rar << loops

i've left out the blatently obvious loops such as on beat snare and off beat 909 open hat.. but everything else is there... good luck.
