The time has come for me to get a hold of this...so I'd like to know if my 2.1ghz Athlon is enough to handle this CPU hog...or should i break down for a 1.8ghz G5 machine?
from what i know, Mac's make better use of CPU, and my PC is already choking with FL Studio 5.
what do you guys rekkon is a wise choice?

Fl Studio from my experiance hogs cpu more than sx...

this would be true about FL, also your sound card and video card play a big factor on how much your CPU can perform.

i have steinberg vsl2020 with 1,2 athlon and sx3 worx very fast. As u see the sound accelerator is most important in this case.

any yamaha piece of kit such as the 01x integrates perfectly into sx3 via the studio connections initiative. store all of your mixer setups inside one cubase file. instant recall.
