Whatever happened to the hardcore DJ HMS? Haven't seen nor heard of him for years. He played the hardest music of the lot.......Helter Skelter, Dreamscape, etc. Is he still alive? Still playing?

HMS as in HMS Loftgroover? Lofty was indeed a cracking dj, got some really good tapes from a few years back

hms used to play b2b with lofty regulary, they weren`t technically that good, but there sets were fierce, hms in the technodrome was legendary.

:D Too reet, I cant remeber Loft been in the dailys star, it was some anti gabba article with the headline "DANCE OF DEATH" and i was complete pile of nonsense saying it was nazi music from Rotterdam. Considering both HMS and Loftgroover where black made it very amusing. Those skelta sets where something else. I can remeber the loftgroover and mc Ribz getting the whole techno drome to chat "**** the daily star". Quality times...

Ive heard that aswell and its from quite a relable source. Lofty is now playing Garage.

HMS is a crackfiend...........i know a lad that booked him to play at a night called Distortion back in 99 in Liverpool......in fact he was on after Mark (dya remeber Mark?? me and u were behind the decks goin nuts...and i was rippin yer for playin a sash tune!!! (it was a dumonde mix i think though!!))
the lad said that after it he took HMS back to his and he started tubing bongs of rocks.........eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!

i dont think they were that hard though actually hms and lofty.........they were just the cally and juice of hardcore techno............bung everythin on 45rpm............still good days though!!!!
