been the last three years, and it gets better everytime. this years festival line-up looks hot...and i haven't even checked who's playing at the after parties!
down town D-troit is sketchy as hell!!!

haha...yeah...i used to live nearby...trust me though, there are much more sketchy parts of the d than downtown...

we got a room last year at the new hotel in downtown. we walked to the afterparties and back...lit, and the cabbies are a fek'n bunch of crooks themselves. it's all part of the experience i suppose...

maybe it's from growing up there or maybe i was just lucky for many years but i've never had any problems in detroit. sure you can find them pretty easily, but if you keep your eyes open..
no argument that it might as well be beirut tho.
