    Default Books on Techno

just curious what people have read and what they think.

    for me...

    Last Night a DJ...

okay on djing, but horrible section on techno

    Techno Rebels...

some interesting stories about the early days, but poorly written and too detroit-o-centric (and keep in mind i love old detroit techno)

    Energy Flash

liked the Chicago house chapter, mostly thought the author is a doofus.

    whooops

The All Music Guide to Electronica.

More of a companion than a good read. Just like a labrador.

I would like to get my hands on most of the previuosly mentioned books, but can't.

anyway..this is what I can recommend..

Techno:the rough guide by Tim Barr.. if there will be new edition,I hope they'll put more european artists too..

and yeah, not a book, but a documentary, called "Modulations"
