    Default Audio Problem

i have a problem with my pc audio.

for some reason, regardless of what app i use.. media player, reason or acid, i get this stuttery stop start with the audio, then when it comes back, its like its been pitched down on a turntable..

happening with everything. from The Simpsons on Mediaplayer to sequences & loops in Reason 3 & Sound Forge.

gonna run lots of virus checkers.

also, i have a Windows Update that won't install...

is my machine in trouble ???

sounds like it, do what you said, run anti virus and spy checkers.

what anti virus are you using by the way.

also, have you installed anything recently

reinstall your soundcard. if it's happening with EVERYTHING the logic says that it's a soundcard issue.

but then, where s the logic with computers
