    Default Fantasy CD player

    O.k. im joining the dickital revolution!

    What would your fantasy CD player be capable of? I'll start the ball rolling..

    1. Built in analog filters... Mwhahaha!
    2. DVD music action (cheaper than the bloody DVD-VJ thing fro pioneer)
    3. Proper spining platter... ooh!

    Multiple playback - i.e. play more than one track from the same CD at the same time.

    Funnily enough, final scratch lets you do that.. (on the MAC V1.3 it crashes after 2 mins tho under osx 10.2)

    I think you can get Denon cd decks with this feature, they have two lasers in them apparently. Or so I have been told.

    I doubt you'd need that, the data rates you can pull stuff off of CD at...

    Just two (or more) buffers which are being constantly filled.

    ... but that's an implementation issue.

    I'd also like them to support mp3 CDs.

    I'd like mine lined with with giraffe skin.

    And a huge rusty switch that you smash into position to turn it on, like the one Dr Frankenstein uses to start up his lightening machine.
