Any one used one of these sequencers? I'm looking for something to use along side the sequencer on my tr909, mainly for doing synth lines and stuff...

orbital used them a lot , i think they are ok but have limited memory
never used one myself though

You are better off finding a Kawai Q-80. It has 32 available tracks which you can mute/unmute on the fly. 8 buttons available to switch between with 4 rows. Each can be any length and also any midi channel. You have a disk drive for backup which is nice.
There's an "EX" model with an extra midi out and more memory.
