    Default not techno but educational.

warning - this video is an instructional for drum and bass but is still very useful-

i thought the video was horrible for many reasons

A: the voice sounds like that generic MTV im so badass i'm going to throw some knowledge and big words your way

B: secondly it is false. People were doing simliar drum beats way before that. IT is a generic drum beat just like the 4 on the floor in house or techno.

Basically he is making mountains out of mole hills
    But ya what an asshole

yeah ofcourse there were similar drum beats.. but the amen was the 1 to get reused the way it has.

The amen break tbf was legendary before the documentary ask any dnb/breakcore producer. So the mountain was really already there to be talked about.

the examples he uses to show how everyone uses the "Amen break" are bullshit. To suggest that the amen break places a patent on every drum beat that is remotely similar is retarded.

The so called amen break was a drum beat done way before that is just a concept. Thats like calling something the A men break , any song that uses the note A

    retarded
I can't stand his voice. What a douche bag

i thought he was just talking about a drum break that was the same as the amen? not every drum beat yknow. Yeah his voice is like a pretencious yank Stephen Hawking in a way.
