i visited the germantrance forum last nite and read a post that said that edm are to re-release some of their old classics with a more modern twist, does ne1 know if this rumour is true??

perhaps the future of hardtrance lies in its roots..............

I'm not to into the older EDM sound, but it would be cool if the original artists re-released the tunes with a more up to date version if ya get me, then we could see how there production has improved etc and we would also get a load of old classics that we could drop in a set now and not have to pitch up shitloads! :D

Edm is hard trance. Ive got loads of originals and they have so much energy its unbelievable. I mixed aload of the stuff the other day for a few m8s and i was bouncing all over the place.

Would like to hear what they do with upto date remixes tho. Very interesting to hear this as the originals are some the most classic hard trance tunes ever made

Na dont mean it like that m8. I mean when u use the term hard trance, edm is label that epitomises ( bloody hell, bit of a big word for me)the meaning of hard trance.

It is hard trances best label. Ever.

Yes m8 i agree but none of them come quite that close to edm. Time unlimited and spaceflower were very good, but u listen to the the music being played around this time and you would always hear an edm record

ok boys just like to have my say in all this n personaly BONZAI pisses on all of them but do respect labels like edm,suck me plasma,TIME UMLIMITED,TUNNEL,they made some top tunes!! :D

Sorry but that classic hard trance sound of 94-early 98 was the best music ever written, so ahead of its time as well. I loved the old edms spaceflowers, united ravers but i agree with derb, bonzai and time unlimited were favourites.

rushes home for an old skool trance mix :P

edm rules we`ve been getting loads of oldies in the shop of late... plastic house ... cocooma yellow base.... fast transmission all that stuff is wicked... i love all the old time unlimited stuff too the fast ones ... and suck me plasma... yeah bring on the old school trance... ummmm
