Default Cari Lekebusch - OFFICIAL APPRECIATION THREAD

Can we all just get jiggy over this guy?

His early Harthouse tracks just knocked me out. He was the original Swedish master bar none. What a guy. Have you all heard his new stuff? Did you check the album on Truesoul and what about the new Heroes International???

    He definitely deserves some respec.
The guy has many strings to his bow, and can make more than one sound.
I don`t always like what he does, and that`s why I like him.
He tries different things, and sometimes he fails.
    At least he tries.
    There is a Gap...

he was always easily my favourite of all the swedes in the late 90's. When beyer and the others got carried away with shitty 'dj loop tools', lekebusch always stood out for doing something a bit different and much more musical... rocks as a dj too.

oh, the new material he is putting on Glenn's Heroes Int is pure genius..!

    The MANTIS is supreme!

I loved what he did with Glenn,

and also on his latest one, especially the very solid "Bootwerk", you can definitely bang that all the way through.

Also, there is a label out of NEW York, named Railyard Recordings, whereas it is all as

    www.railyardrecordings.com

ADCL - Alexi Delano & Cari Lekebusch...

talk about flat out funky shite!

    I'm all over it!

Two of the first Techno records I bought were Lekebusch tracks.

    I still play them today.

Have to admit that I am very new to Lekebusch' work, having never really heard of him until hearing him play Darkside in May. However, since hearing his shit that night I've been gagging for more!

Don't suppose anyone has any links to online sets to d/l?

food for thought (w/ joel mull) and colour clash II (with alexi) are two of my top faves, but my all time favorite cari lekebusch release is:

hybrid 1205 (drumcode 15 split release)

there's also a mystery track that joel mull drops on pt. 2 of an old awakenings mix from 2000 or '01 that totally makes we want to break something. he plays a track off "food for thought" and then later in the mix he drops it and it's clearly a lekebusch production. it's like the second to last track played before the mix cuts off. anyone know this track?

    he is THE swedish master.....
much respect to him for all his work.
he is easily one of my biggest influences when it comes to techno...
Always top notch productions and relentless performances.
