    Default Logic time stretch

    How can i time stretch on Logic ppl!?

    Im used to just dragging the audio across on cubase (with the timestretch arrow thing)

    theres a timestrech tool. there should be a option at top of srceen to open it on your audio channel. havnt used logic for little wile. but it has got 1

    Double click on sample, choose Time and Pitch Factory from the menu I think ... it's a bit pants though, there's gotta be a better way? Everyone I know using Logic is using some kind of Apple Loops thing that integrates withit these days.

    yeh i found out you can do it in another menu if u set the markers to how long u want the stretch , but it wont do over a 100%, which is fine, but anyway this way its not really changing the pitch aswell as time. I cant remember the menu of the top of my head but all u had to do was click this option and it stretches it. You can also click different options such as rhythmical etc . Il have a look again tomorrow no doubt. The time and pitch factory is good for changing pitch tho.
