    yip yip

it was a hottun, a fattun and the party on the beach was the icing on the cake, the jam in the rice pudding, the bit of chocolate at the bottom of the cornetto.

and yeah, cheer up dave the ho-humdrummer.... techno's sposed to be fun!

So, is there more Hindsight techno nights planned for The Matrix?

With slightly improved/increased sound; pictures of the DJ on the projector (not the crowd); and some big fans it could be a great venue. Just what's needed in the southwest.

    Default matrix club - Hindsight

hi there - i went to the gig - i caught the last 20 mins of Marky EG ;-)

but DTD!!! - Man i really enjoyed the opening 20 mins of D.A.V.E the drummer!!!!! whats the name of the 2nd track you dropped??? LOL

    Rockin!!! - Impressed<<<

    My verdict of the club

The venue itself is great - Has the elements in place to be a great underground venue.

I'm not sure about the elevated dj booth - very separate from the crowd -
(personally I like the intimacy with artists at same level)

the sound system - well for techno - i hafta say - :(( I'm not impressed at all
--- there is absolutly no bottom end!! just a tease of a basskick :(

    the attitude - well - i saw 1 "skirmish" & 1 fight that night :(

I heard beforehand the place was "punchy" - I went with open mind.

The first guy i saw came out with 2 stomping black eyes!!! lol

I had a real good laugh with 1 of the doormen - he was very funny!

The staff - I think were great! I had a smile off majority of them ;-)

I will return to the venue again & show suport for the southwests underground scene!

I would darken the maninroom & have Live VJ's to compliment the quality artists.

    I LOVE UNDERGROUND TECHNO
