    Some Info about the artists.....

    HYPER FREQUENCIES

Passionate about music, a follower of the 70s, fan of Led Zep, Hendrix, Stooges...Gill alias Hyper Frequencies started his career at the end of the 80s as bass player in several rock groups, notably 'Stalker'. At the start of the 90s he discovers Techno and starts to mix at the end of 94. Manifesting as a good DJ he attracts the attention of Mick Chaos, the 'big boss' of the British label Chaos Unlimited that releases his 1st mix tape 'The Machine' followed by several others, notably 'The Wisdom Place'. In 98 he purchases his 1st computer and equipment. Then slowly but surely, everything falls into place...
Mick Chaos is the 1st to produce his music, 'First Elevation' and 'Drum Explorer (see discography), the latter composed with the collaboration of his friends in Jaïa, a killer track that makes a tour of the globe and provides Gill with an important grounding for composition.
In 2000, he joins up again with 'Turbo Trance' a label that he represents for a while and with whom he releases several tracks, notably his 1st LP 'A Prayer/Running Time'...During this period Gill and Fred (Neuromotor) meet one another. Conceived not only from a deep friendship but also hard work... The result is the creation of their album 'Plastik Elephant vs Hyper Frequencies' an underground, psychedelic album, and the realisation of their joint project 'Crazy Lions Cult'.
Then Fred (Neuro) decides to set up his own label 'Mechanik Sound Records'. Gill joins him and it's with Mechanik that he releases his 1st solo album, the 'Red Crystal Moon'(The symbol for the day of his birth on the Maya calendar)...an album where the words psychedelic state and energy count most.
There follows a multitude of dates around the globe (see agenda) where each time his energy infects the dance floor...
2004 will be a very busy year, notably with some of the present Mechanik team: Neuromotor, Chromatone, Phatmatix, DJ Anaka, DJ Tajmahal: all reunited for many months in the south of France, at Château de Sanilhac (thanks to Tony). At this magical place, rich in 1100 years of history they will release their famous double compilation (18 tracks!) : "Mechanik Castle" in the shops Since the 28th February 2005. Gill participates on 8 of the tracks on this project : 3 "Hyper Frequencies" and 5 others with his side Projects: 'HyperChrome", "Los Diablos", "Super Punk".
On his return to the Lyon region, Gill devotes with Fred Neuro to "Crazy Lions Cult", some new tracks with his friend Fred "Triskell", some collaboration with other musician friends, and for sure his 2nd solo album, coming out in 2006...

    ZEFER

Neutronyx dj resident, Ap-records dj label, and part of the Xvibe (Brazil).

DJ "ZEFER": Fer is the resident Dj of Neutronyx and old Moonemotions. He started Djing 6 years ago and he has a good real mixing technique, beat matching and music selection is so natural for him.
His sets fill the dance floor up playing either Cds or Vinils or both in the same set creating the backwards effects from the turntable and introducing Samples (without abusing) using the Cue buttons of CDj (cdj1000 up to 3) with any mixer creating unique versions of the themes.Nowadays his sets are with 2cdjs and a Pioneer EFX-1000 machine flying always in his BAG with the most wanted Tunes.
His Style is FULL-ON "A powerful set trying to put a smile on the people on the dancefloor and giving no rest at all.."
Big gig dates include a gig with EAT STATIC & John 00 Fleming up in Belfast or Dublin with John Phantasm,CONsequencer,INDIKA, MECHANIX, NEUROMOTOR, Kristian and many more big psy acts. Also has been booked to play in TURKEY at the main festival of this winter, SOULCLIPSE 2006 to add to his other International gigs in Budapest (Hungary), Madrid (Spain), London (UK) @ clubMass, Dancing Shiva III (AUSTRIA).

He has played all over Dublin in the same clubs than names as Sasha,Paulvandyck, Richi hawtin..etc and in festivals like " Jiggs'n Riggs Festival, Rathlin Island, Northern Ireland" or "PLANETLOVE 2003"
At the moment is getting ready a live act together with an Irish producer so more and more to be expected for the time coming.

    Mike Humphries

Mike has been producing techno since 1991 and over the years has recorded for many labels and has numerous releases in his discography.

Mikes first outings on vinyl were productions on the Belgium labels, 2 Thumbs, Mineral and Growth (the in-house labels of Frank De Wolf, one of the early innovators of the European techno sound), under the name of D. Kontrol.

Since then, he has remixed for The Advent (Player Mix), for Glenn Wilson on Planet Rhythm, Heroes and Aphrohead (aka Felix Da House Cat), on Bush Records (Area 51 mix) and is now remixing for Potential.

Mike has concentrated more on producing tracks for his own labels. Punish, the sleazy sounds of Techno, raw and pumping!!!! Together with Glenn Wilson, Mike has spent many hours in the studio creating some memorable vinyl, creating a truly unique label.

The tough and uncompromising label Red Seal, recording under the name H, he brought you the World Downfall series (huge tunes for dave clarkes fuse presents), 2 Thieves and was responsible for some serious lives PAs as Cold Dust.

He brought you a limited release series, the pure techno sounds of Black and White records, the street techno beats of Player Records, the in-house label of the Orbit UK (R.I.P.), aswell as the label Pusher Records.

The one time special resident was firmly rooted in the club’s production seat, bringing anonymous releases to the Player label, remixed by some of the biggest names, to create a truly underground vibe.

Mike's projects have been remixed by some of Chicago’s finest new school producers, DJ Bam Bam, DJ Urban and Angel Alanis, as well as techno artists such as Joey Beltram, Adam Beyer, Marco Bailey and Mark Broom, Ben Sims on the Player Remixes label.

Look out for his most recent project Mastertraxx, which began at the end of 2003. This is a label for the techno purists. Remixes will again appear from the heavyweight producers of the techno scene, aswell as opportunities for new comers to express themselves on the world stage (All demos to mastertraxx get heard!).......keep it tuned!

Over the years, Mike has DJ-ed and played live sets in many clubs all around the world, and is currently a resident for The Darkside @ the peephouse in Leeds(UK)

    SEBASTIEN MARX

Sebastien Marx has been performing his live p.a. for the last five years, on the underground scene. His music ranges from hard techno through to electro and breaks. Although based in London he has played at numerous festivals, technivals and clubs in the UK.

Sebastien began his musical career in punk bands in his native France, at the very young age of 14. He at one time or other played drums, keyboards, guitar, bass and double bass, before making the transition to electronic music, using synths and computer technology. From his recording/ rehearsal studio in South London he also had the opportunity to produce and engineer for live bands.

Now, after finally committing his music to vinyl, he has had his first release ‘Test Flight’ on the label ‘Open Source’. His latest release being on his own label ‘Globe Warmer’, this January 2005. The focus of his record releases has been on hard techno. His diverse musical taste is also now encompassing electro and breaks in his, as ever, very individual style.

With his mixture of eclectic, percussive, non-derivative music, he never fails to rock any venue. Due to his wide repertoire of loops and beats he is able to fluidly improvise and immediately respond to the mood of the crowd, his set is not pre-structured.

In the future Sebastien wishes to continue to reach an ever-wider audience with his records and live p.a., whilst experimenting and pushing the boundaries of electronic music. He wishes to now take his live performances across Europe and to other parts of the world.

Also- seb has played at these nights--

    antiworld, mindscapes, re-rave-all,undergroundsound malfaiteur,headfuk,shtonka,technophobia from
    brighton,defcon1 (414 brixton),exodus,beats for the streets,interface radio
and "interzone" a night Seb put on from time to time.

Sebastien Marx live set from Teknowarfare back in September.

    DUBREAK

    "Jamaican tinged sonic revelry"

Dubreak aka Dara Grehen from Dublin. His sound is an intricate tapestry of interwoven hardware synth melodies with a layer of electronic percussion. Dubreak began to record his music in 1993, as a sonic diary for the current sounds that brought a smile to his face. He has been on countless voyages to the Outerworld, where he persuaded several high profile algorithms to spare his puny heu-mann existence. This 4 track EP is lifted from an original collection named The Outerworld Expeditions, beats and percussion evolve under the surface, coupled perfectly with bright warm textures and melodies. This Jamaican tinged sonic revelry is best listened to when collapsed and semi-conscious in a darkened room.

    CUBE

    *CUBE*
Cube (Sam Brady + Graham Teeling) formed in early 2004 and have worked solidly since then on their own tracks using solely hardware synthesizers, samplers and drum machines.

Cube's music ranges from electro to breakbeat and techno with focus on reviving some feeling back into dance music, using their own brand of melodies with plenty of big synth sounds, catchy hooks and funky bangin beats.

Influences are varied and plentiful; Underworld, Daft Punk, Chemical Brothers and Plaid, to mention a mutual few.

Sam has worked on various hardware projects over the last 8 years; from ambient, breakbeat and techno to film scores, solo electronic projects (several gigs in TBMC) and another partnership; 'Brothers Unrelated' (2002) who played at the 'Smash Biotek' gigs in TBMC and many free parties.

Graham started out as a Drum'n'Bass Dj, and began mixing techno and breakbeat, often playing the same gigs as Sam. He took to production using hardware and has worked on tracks ranging from Drum'n'Bass to ambient, electro, techno and breakbeat.

Cube started playing shows in mid 2004, first at free parties (Dave's almighty session of the year, NYE in Ball Hill Donegal) Glenart Castle (late 2004) for the short but sweet appearance stomped out to a great crowd. Since 2005 Cube have played at a delapidated mill in Newtown, a barn at Halloween in Eniskerry and every other party-able venue in between. They headlined the NCAD end of year ball (May 2005), played at Smack in the Basement Club, Planet Underground at The Vaults (October 2005) and Crawdaddys in The POD (November 2005).They never fail to get the crowd hoppin' and always try to guage what people want to hear on the night. Feedback is amazing and on the incline.

They were booked to play at the 'Leechrum Festival' (June 2004) but the good old police (of "peace") ordered all sound systems off the premisis and threatened to confiscate their equipment (lovely blokes really...) so their gig was cancelled.

    Hardware list:

    Korg ESX1 x 2
    Korg Triton
    Access Virus Rack

    KOEAGO

Koeago aka Kodie(Ronan O'Callaghan) has been djing for the past 7 years, his first gig was in the sweaty surrounds of switch nightclub (R.I.P.) for the ever present BAASBIN,but this guy is no one trick pony.....after that he turned his hand at minimal tekno and not been able to find his sound on vinyl, decided to create his own. He's been producing and playing live since, and with influences as broad as ltj bukem ,peshay, laurient gaarnier ,darren price, luke slater and any movie from bladerunner to batman im sure he's going to please..........

Just a wee reminder about tickets.... theyre on sale and apparently they're fairly fancy, with a little hologram and a scratchy thing on the back and some special thing that ye shine a 'magic' light over and it glows up and tells you that the ticket is real and not a cheap imitation. so thats 3 security features on each ticket. im amazed myself. but anyway they're €15 from Spindizzy (where you can also get some nice records), The Hemp Store (where ye used to be able to get mushrooms till tues when they banned em, you can get some nice hemp trousers instead) and Red-Eye (some wicked t-shirts n clothes in this shop). well that was a fairly long winded way of tellin ye to GO AND GET TICKETS!!!!!!!!

    cheers

    Rob :)
