    look ok. macbook is a crappy name though :lol:

    i do think they have sold their souls in my mind by going with intel though.

    But it may work out for the best in the long run, time will tell.

    Jobs wanted intel in the first place. besides its OSx that makes macs rock, not the chip.

    bittersweet. Rosetta emulates a G4 processor, and thus will make your PPC applications and plugins run wicked slow. Even when you are running Logic with universal binary, if your plugins are still coded for PPC, Logic will be switched to run under rosetta, and you'll be stuck trying to work with a computer thats slower to get it up than an old guy with an empty bottle of viagra.

    I'd recommend producers and creative professionals alike should just stick with their G5's and current powerbooks until the software developers can get things sorted.
