I like alot of Chris' stuff.
Speciall that new lable of his F1, I think?
you just know this is gonna get slated coz of the label. :(
who is track 3?
its gonna get slated because its pooh. The first track sounds like whoever did it has spent the whole week before they made it listening to Archive 1 and every other Dave Clarke record they own. The 2nd is just typical Intec congo loops filter sweeps stuff. 3rd track really wasnt into again.
Chris Cowie is a great producer, he's just done some remixe's for Carl (taylor) on Advanced and that was good stuff, and his F1 label is sweet too.
This is a turkey though
nah.. first track is a good'un.. i like the oldschool style of it.
i'm with eyes on this, he got it bang-on...
Numeric
it's ok dancefloor fodder imho. and i can see he's trying to do something slightly different with his sound. it serves a purpose i reckon in the right clubs. oh well that's my two cents *mark makes quick exit stage left before eyes pelts him with eggs*
:cheese:
ive got no eggs left mate, used my last one's pelting some schranz artists last night.
but.... i really dont think the old "serves a purpose in the right clubs" excuse is that valid. What purpose? to sound practically the same as the last zillion intec ep's and veer dangerously close to producing an all out Clarke rip? odd purpose Mark my friend ;)
seriously though, club techno is supposed to be played in, shock horror, clubs, but i dont go to any clubs where the techno gets this bad, seriously, i really dont, i frequent Voodoo, Atomic Jam and the odd Split and i really would not expect to hear this at any of them, id go out on a limb and say maybe most of Intec's main interest is abroad now?
someone told me Intec had gone bust anyway? anyone?
the first track is like a good ignitian technician track booty style. is it techno? still dont like it.
maybe would be cooler with some cracker biscuits and a bottle of vino.
smell the cheese
