I don't know...Liebing has been playing all over the techno spectrum for years and years. Even before he was big. Judging from the track listing it gets pretty damn hard by the end if you ask me. What's wrong with building up a set instead of just playing the same thing for two hours?

I think it's not a bad thing for Liebing to do based on the fact he did come from a house background.
He may have a good understanding on this approach.

I don't know any of those tracks there except for...

    Adam Beyer - 'A Walking Contradiction' (Plus8)

...because I listened to it on Juno. I can say... It sucks! What a far cry from the Drumcode and Codered records!

i've got a techno division cd by him from 2004 i think which has one side minimal and the other his usual full on sound, so indeed its nothing new really.

    I wouldn't call this minimal.
It's just a nice mixture of different kinds of techno sounds.
Not limited to one particular style.
    OUT NOW:
    - Orlando Voorn & Juan Atkins "Game One (Ritzi Lee remix)" on Nightvision.
    - Cybernetics EP on Labrynth (Beatport release)

    OUT SOON:
    - Black Noiz on Labrynth (vinyl release)

    i've gone minimal too

i have been concentrating on shrinking my body into the smallest space possible

and i have this weekend succesfully managed to become the size of a pair of underpants

good going for one weeks work i hear you say.

but i will not be satisfied until my entire body only needs to fill the space of a medium sized tennis shoe.
    love your mum

I dont see whats so wrong with what he's playing. I think it's great when a dj can incorporate different styles into one set - I think more djs should learn how to do this.
