a rumbling bassline

its usually located only in the sub
and thats all i know about it
any advices/tutorials?

not really too clear on that sample but your right it does sound like sub frequencies.

most bass synths have a sub on them so just use one of them or there are plenty of samples of sub basses available. the acces virus subs are perticularly nice.

There`s loads of ways of creating this kind of sub rumble.
Placing silly amounts of reverb on a sub sound, and making it all sit under the kick.
Or, sampling the reverb on it`s own and then using that to go under the kicks.
Or just mashing up some samples of industrial booms and hits, and playing them down low for some serious rumble.
Or just using pure sine sub right down low.
It all depends on the type of tune and effect you are going for.
It`s become a techno cliche as much as hardhouse has the oompah bassline.
But it is nice ;)

ah now i wouldnt say that. that rumble sound will always wreck the gaff, plus you can change the rhythm of it so its never the same!!

haven't listened yet - but you can always take a preferably no-kick drumloop and filter it down with a lowpass filter and some res. the thing is you won't be able to recognize the loop itself (for all the loophaterz :lol: ) but you can use different ones for different sub "rythms". or do that with either the tune you are working on minus the kick. or older tunes of yours or unfinished stuff of yours that didn't quite make it to the tune stage.

i usually put my bass line's through a sub harmonizer plug in, u can get really accurate control over the amount of sub, frequency etc

you can take all the 'dry' out to get some serious rumble
