Edinburgh techno takes a kick in the balls, Venue to close..

As some off you maybe aware one of edinburghs top live venues "the venue"
will be closing its doors for good this summer making way
for brand spankin new office's, as if edinburgh hasnt
got enough already....anyway this spells bad news for
many a good night held @ the Venue including ourselfs "JakN",
with decent alternatives being few and far between, leaving
us pritty much homeless untill a spot becomes available
in another suitable venue, this could take a while seeing
as the places we want are fully booked out for the year....i cant
express enough how much of a CUNT this is as we feel we
where starting to make a big noise in edinburgh...all good
things must come to an end i suppose???

With summer just round the corner we'll be making good
use of the great out doors and keeping the noise going
thro out....so if you want to be kept in the loop of wot we
plan on doing please subscribe to our mailing list info@diversefrequencies.co.uk

By the winter months we should have a better idea of where
the clubs going etc so keep your ears to the ground....!!!

I'd also like to take this oppertunity and thank all who have
supported us over the last 2.5 years and give a MASSIVE
shout out to all who have kept it real and agreed to rock

Sad news.
Jack-N was not only a good techno night, but it had raw, underground edginess lacking in a lot of techno clubs.
And it was propper hammer and tongues having it.
I hope to see the Jak-N boys back in a venue.

i feel for you guys, we,ve just found out our venue has cancelled all our nights after next weekend (which we had to fight tooth and nail over). There's nowhere else in the town to hire out really :( it sucks .......... flees to the hills
