Allan Banford - Audiomagnetic - Unlimited #9 (France)

    A: Audiomagnetic - http://mp3.juno.co.uk/MP3/SF216433-01-01-01.mp3
    B1: Novamuza - http://mp3.juno.co.uk/MP3/SF216433-01-02-01.mp3
    B2: 3th Cycle - http://mp3.juno.co.uk/MP3/SF216433-01-02-02.mp3

Loving this! Just ordered it. Been a fan of Banford's productions for a while now (except that release on Intec).

The "Audiomagnetic" tracks fat as, if nothing groundbreaking, the "Novamuza" tracks a nice tribal track with an awesome sound thats gonna wind my dog up fo' sure, and "3th Cycle" has got some serious head wrecking sounds going on.

Anyone else liking this guys work?

PS: Has anyone got a copy of Allan Banford's "Groove" on SLS that they'd sell me? Got to be the GC II Version mind. PM me if you've got a copy and are willing to part with it.

    Cheers! :)

the 3rd track was okish, wouldnt play it but reminded me of the first british murder boys with that synth that comes in

the rest was really not my thing, i dont rate him as a producer at all ive been getting his stuff in the post and its all kinda recycled stuff, that Intec ep was shocking

the review sheets that come with the records are better than the records themselves, hilarious what some people write on those things!

Hey, tell you what, you can forward the promos and stuff you've been getting in the post to me if you want...

Your not wrong about that Intec release though. Wasn't into that at all myself.

there was a massive stolen riff on that Intec record and it made me laugh so much

i was brutally honest in my reaction sheet on that one

i just pointed out that stolen riffs and cheap sounding productions dont really do it for me. The ep was called "best of british" so i asked them if this was intentional irony or blind niaveness

    never got an answer

Or maybe they like the fact you were honest instead of being like one of the robots who normally fills out the reaction sheets with "wow! this is awesome" when somethings clearly not.

All feedback, good or bad is constructive IMO.
