    Normally like Cave's stuff, but I thought this release was a little weak. What do you think? It's a tad cheese I think, and I hate that "Friday Night" sample.

    normally i'm really into cave's stuff on spilo, great tribal beats, i don't know if i'd call this weak but its certainly a lot more laid back than usual

    Ok weaker might be the wrong word and you've probably hit the nail on the head when you said "laid back"

    I probably would have said "watered down sounding" or something. :lol:

    I think the groove is excellent, each time it drops its pretty intense... but that vocal is really horrible and has stopped me playing a few times...

    Ortin Cam mix makes it for me.

    I never understood the Cave hype, he was just re-introducing an old sound to kids who hadn`t heard it before, and those that came before did it better IMHO.
