What do you think about this guy ?
I like his stuff very much, it's hard but it has always some touches of warmth here and there. Also his co-operations with guys like Glenn Wilson are superb, escpecially Sub-Tempo on the new Drumworks

dean has a really excellent sound now. i remember his very early stuff and i saw so much in it but i couldn't play it cause it wasn't very well produced. then he just suddenly seemed to discover something. his tracks have such attitude.

his work with andreas k. is ok too...
Agreed matey...dean rodell is on the up...Originally Posted by jourdain

I think one of Dean's favorite works of mine is that compound release called perceptive nature or something...I can't remember. Unfortunately, playing that hard around here lately doesn't work.

dean is way up there, ever since he brought out that stortion track i've been a big fan of his work. as said by others the sound is hard and raw, but it still has a deeper touch as well that gives his records just that little something extra............
I'm always loving Dean's stuff.... quaaaalitaaay!
