    Default Dean Rodell

What do you think about this guy ?

I like his stuff very much, it's hard but it has always some touches of warmth here and there. Also his co-operations with guys like Glenn Wilson are superb, escpecially Sub-Tempo on the new Drumworks
Surgeon ! Regis ! Christian Wünsch ! Reeko ! James Ruskin ! Oscar Mulero ! Oliver Ho !

dean has a really excellent sound now. i remember his very early stuff and i saw so much in it but i couldn't play it cause it wasn't very well produced. then he just suddenly seemed to discover something. his tracks have such attitude.

Agreed matey...dean rodell is on the up...

Altough Subtempo on drumworks is a massive tune(listening to it as we speak)..its not the latest drumworks..and ive had this tune on a slab of black for a good 6months.

    but yes..its pretty crankning

Yes, Ian is on duty for DW03 and it just arrived on promo...sounding ****in' good!

I think one of Dean's favorite works of mine is that compound release called perceptive nature or something...I can't remember. Unfortunately, playing that hard around here lately doesn't work.

    yeah me too ;)

dean is way up there, ever since he brought out that stortion track i've been a big fan of his work. as said by others the sound is hard and raw, but it still has a deeper touch as well that gives his records just that little something extra............
