I think some of those prices are a bit optimistic for the players to sell list though.

Diao and Cheyrou on a free is hopeful for a start, they'll probably have to pay them to go! But I heard half those numbers for Dudek and Morientes and I can't see anyone paying £9m for Cisse... Kromkamps only been there 6 months or something though hasn't he?

Liverpool striker Fernando Morientes has returned to Spain to join Valencia for an undisclosed fee.
The 30-year-old former Real Madrid striker has only been at Anfield for 16 months, but managed to score just 12 goals in 61 games.

His disappointing season was capped when he was left out of the Spanish squad for this summer's World Cup.

Morientes moved to Liverpool from Real Madrid for £6.3m in 2005 after he had excelled while on loan at Monaco.

"Everybody at Liverpool would like to wish `Nando' all the best with his new club in Spain," said a statement on the Liverpool website.

On Tuesday Morientes' agent Gines Carvajal said the striker would not return to Spain and would fulfill the remaining two years of his Liverpool contract.

Morientes won three European Cups and two league titles with Real Madrid.

During his loan spell with Monaco he helped the French club reach the Champions League final.

So thats one failed striker gone, lets hope this is a step foward.!

Interesting quote from Rafa... "I don't know how much money the other teams will spend and whether they will sign the right players. You don't need to buy the best leg for your table. You need to buy the leg you need for your table"
