    did anybody go to it?

i was there, wasnt heaps of techno, still enough to merit a thread on this forum

on friday los hermanos, surgeon, kenny larkin, kevin saunderson, rob hall and autechre all were on afyer another

best night of music i had in ages

and on saturday it was bangface with ceephax, luke vibert, altern8 etc etc, pure old skool acid party vibe... :cheese:

i went, but was working quite a lot so didn't get to see much, autechre were ace i thought. Shame rowland was on in the afternoon and the soundsystem sounded horrible for his set.
hellfish and producer was good too :)

good festival though got quite messy at times

autechre was one of the best performances ive ever seen, was prob the setting and tahompshere than kinda brought out the substance of their set

surgeon was serious, loadsa vexd tracks, PAS tunes, classics and loadsa recent dark bangers, had teh whole arena rammed going nuts

Had loads of fun, really enjoyed playing and the crowd were brilliant. Posted something in the general forum earlier...

Got a little vid of me playing: http://blackboxtechno.co.uk/jaypaceglade.AVI

Really enjoyed the Bangface night, spent a great deal of the festival bumbling about feeling spacey.
Atmosphere was great in general, weather perfect.

Its an ace festival. Saw less music this year, but the atmosphere is what I go back for each year.

Real shame the sound was so poor for Rowland's set but it was still one of the highlights... bit of absolute dirt in the afternoon never hurt anyone!

Once again it would have been an even better weekend had there been a dedicated techno tent, but hey ho... still had a quality time :cheese:
