no mate cricket is the shizzle, no better way to spend five days of your time watching two teams fight out a draw

yeah i like it when its exciting, im not into watching two batsmen stay in for 2 days hitting 250 each, thats just boring, i think we'll get hammered though unless we start playing better

Not exactly a massive fan but used to play local village cricket as a young un so have an interest and was rekindled to an extent by the Ashes win.

Really hope we can defend the Ashes - really rub it in to retain them in Oz after all the years of pastings we took - but tbh I'll be even more gobsmacked than lst time if we do it! Think that was this England teams peak and they'll struggle to ever get that back again.

We have got some good young players coming through and Panesar is a quality spin bowler.

Just for me we will miss Simon Jones's pace espiecally with Flintoff not fit enough yet to bowl.

yeah, all the injuries are our biggest problem really, since we won the ashes, we've not been able to keep a fit side together

I have been getting up at 5:30am and stayed up most of last night. England showed signs of promise batting last night. But we did not play enough cricket in Australia before the 1st test.

Harmison well short but showed signs his line is coming back. Got to get Panesar back in for Adelaide.

yeah, it could have been more of a hammering if it wasn't for the aussies stupidly not forcing the follow on.

    still a hammering though:whoops:

I think Ponting was looking at the bigger picture and thought that Langer getting a Ton would do wonders for his confidence for the rest of the series.
