Aha...! Owdoo there matey...
I started out producing at 140 as I felt, imo, that this was a balancing tempo for the dancefloor - keeping everyone jiggin away but not wearing them out on those long hauls that can happen of a weekend....:briggin:
Now I am swaying much more towards 135 as this allows me much more room to put the groove n wiggle in to play... am finding much more space to fill each sound out to it's full potential, without being minimal...
Aha again...
This is interesting as a friend produces at 147 to play live at the acid techno parties down here n this seems to be the perfect not too slow/ not too fast tempo, for his style, which gets the crowd really going of four o'clock in the morning...:briggin:
Different measures for different times as well as for different folks eh... :)
137.655 (perfect for running in D)
145.8393 for running in C
125 for E.
140 is a nice speed
oh bloody hell

why? isnt this thread merly making new boundries for what is and what isnt something?
exactly, do what you want to do, when you want to do it, and just hope some other people enjoy it as much as you
Life is "trying things to see if they work"
Finally getting around to updating my site

Dave knows scooter lyrics
He was asking a perfectly legitimate question dude.
But then again thats the sort of answer we've come to expect from you. isnt it.
if you dont wanna contribute positivly - piss off somewhere else.
And you can land one in my face for that, because ill get up and say it again.
And you know, thats what i've come to expect from the london crowd (no offence to the innocent eh...) elitist, retentive and un-helpful.
On the other hand i take your point about boundaries.
Difference is "I" dont have any.
