Default What's been your inspiration for the last year?

What artists, genres and tracks have been the inspiration for your mixes / productions this last year?

Personally with the mnml and electro-house bandwaggons, i've found it hard to get inspired by techno or electro so i've been leaning back towards my more industrial routes with bands like NIN, Front 242 and Ministry.
Also I never get tired of Aphex Twin or Squarepushers output

joy division (since i rediscovered all my old vinyls...), the cure, speedy j's dolby surround project (amazing!), Chivas Regal, darkness in general, the streets of Rotterdam, Tony Rohr and the hiphop beats of Delic from the dutch hiphop masters Opgezwolle....and of course my muse girlfriend...:)

I wouldn't say some artist or something.
But I would say that some new synths and sounds pushed me forward in more experimenting with electronic music.
    OUT NOW:
    - Orlando Voorn & Juan Atkins "Game One (Ritzi Lee remix)" on Nightvision.
    - Cybernetics EP on Labrynth (Beatport release)

    OUT SOON:
    - Black Noiz on Labrynth (vinyl release)

    Bipolar Disorder
    Solitary by nature.
    Isolation is the gift.
Does anyone have courage to stand apart any more?

    Anything but techno tbh.

Lots of folk (new & old) and the odd pieces of avant garde goodness.

me getting into minimal and electro kind of saved me this year cos i was going off my music a bit. now i'm loving everything again. i guess they made me realise there is a lot of stuff out there and by people and lables i've never even heard of. Since i first discovered techno this is the most excited i think i've been about music!
