TCP Recordings is back once again with another cracking release to add to their catalogue. Thomas Christopher and Steve Payne take a side each featuring two new original Thumpers. Both tracks have a melodic uplifting feel yet still very much techno. Steve’s a more darker affair while Chris’s very driving and energetic.
This time round TCP has teamed up with the Omega Audio pairing, Axel Karakasis and Spiros Kaloumenous. Axel remixing Steve’s side and Spiros the other, both adding their own unique remix sound to the label.

“One of Pro-Active’s top production tips for the year was TCP Recordings duo Thomas Christopher and Steve Payne. Over the past 12 months, their label has been steadily gaining fans from around the globe, and this 6th release on the label should enhance their growing reputations further still.

As has been the case on earlier releases on the label, this E.P. showcases one track each from both Thomas & Steve, and this time they have commissioned the services of not 1, but 2 remixes to complete what is a superb overall package. Steve contributes his excellent original composition ‘MY THEORY’, and this has been remixed by fast rising star ‘AXEL KARAKASIS’, who was a recent ‘new entry’ in this years DJ Mag top 100 DJ’s poll, coming in with a bullet at number 90 in the very influential readers poll.

Thomas also serves up a treat of a track with his own original composition, the wonderfully entitled ‘State Sponsored Intensity’, and he has enlisted the remix duties of Axel’s OMEGA AUDIO partner in crime, SPIROS KALOUMENOS for an excellent reworking.

As well as releases on this, their own imprint, Steve and Thomas have also recorded recently for Primevil, plus they have forthcoming material being released on both Primate Recordings & Primate Endangered Species (the label is about to re-launch), plus Spiros and Axel’s Omega Audio Recordings.”
