    F*CK

i'm really messed up by this.

dave was a close friend of mine when i lived in ann arbor. like, we used to spin at the same parties, i used to go over his house to hang out. i was ALWAYS amazed by how skilled he was on the decks. he was one of those people who was never arrogant w, even though he got SO good so quickly.

we kept in touch until around 2002 when i moved from new york to seattle, then only here or there over friendster.

he was getting very commercially successful lately. not playing techno or detroit bass anymore, really. like, working with 50 cent big. i never knew he was manic but i guess it makes sense. my ex-girlfriend was close to him. i haven't spoken to her for years. kind of feel like sending an email or something.

    sh*t

    another obituary.
