TruVerb is nice for a touch of spacial reverb.
Load up the Studio B preset and have a fiddle. It spaces it out nicely and doesnt drop it back too far

or else, put the reverb as a send... and add the effect to suit!!!

When using as send fx, you can vary from dry/wet to have the best result you need. And it also takes you less cpu, when you are using the same reverb on more sounds.
I am not expert on reverbs, but I have always several reverb effects as a send effect in my tracks.

reverb1 is early reflection - good for using on drums, snares or whatever.
reverb 2 - this reverb is the room verb. that's the one I want to affect all the sounds, maybe could be also called track verb.
reverb 3 - some cathedrall or hall with big tail..

Now you can try different amount of different reverbs to fine the right balance of space you need :]

as for the reverb on front sounds. I would go for some early reflection with short or no tail, then play with pre-delay and size setting.
