hey guys.
I have a question about 'tuning' drums using software. I find Its easy to get a whole drum track sitting right using hardware. But what to do when you are using software which means that you will most likely take your drums from many different sample sources & programs etc. ?
Tuned drums are very important to me (ie kick & snare is in key with bassline, hats turn into a 'riff' as opposed to just hats). They really make a track work imo
I know that i can just 'use my ear' and in most cases its good enough but i find it very very annoying trying to 'tune' stuff with a mouse & say the pitch control function.esp for a lot of drum sounds.I just wonder is there a way to find out the individual pitches of a a collection of drum samples and then 'nudge' them up to the nearest perfect note ie E F etc .
i suppose this could be true for all samples in a persons collection.
