What did you think of the Jans original mix? I thought it was ordinary at first until I heard it over a half decent system. That bassy vocal sounds pretty freaky. In fact I'm finding a fair bit of this dudes stuff worth listening to.

I've been listening to the North West Dynamic - Naked Bkade EP - Lars Klein but still have mixed feeling about it. Not managed to buy it but might if it grows on me more :)

Mechanical Slavery, eric did a wicked job, completely evil, that should be in my top 10 too, but there wasn`t room.

strange that as i wasn't so sure on the original at first either but have since found it to be a really useful track, Highland Beats are a really good label actually, haven't been let down by one yet

Expected more from the Reel Musiq one especially with Stoll on it, found both tracks pretty non eventful, although still decent enough loops I guess. The Lenzi one is nice, he's got a wicked style.

The thing about anything stoll touches is it allways seems pretty noneventfull until stuck on a phucking big rig. The man really knows how sounds change at high volume, and the most innocuos sounds take on a whole new meaning. I wasn`t too impressed with the reel musiq record either until I dropped it by accident at a party (it was a white label, and I loast the promo sheet), and it ripped the place up.
Proper 30, I still drop that record. Fan-****in-tastic

    1. Sven Wittekind "DeadZone ep".
    2. Stigmata 7 B2 , 8 B1.
    3. Cl Retry 07 "Too Much Talk - Henrik B rmx"
    4. Submode vs. Bassoon "Taste your kiss"
    5. Turbulence Chapter 2.
    6. Gallen "Mach Drive - Scan X Rmx".
    7. Adam Beyer "Ignition Key - Speedy J Rmx"
    8. Sven Wittekind "Headnut ep"
    9. Clau 08 "Too much talk - Too Much show"
    10 Patrick Skoog "Real Deals"

Stigmata & Ignition Key just stay my fav records. And Scan X rmx just has a nice dark melody. The rest is pretty much just straight forward stuff.

The one on Drumworks is really good, I like his style, hard and hypnotic.

hmm, yeah his track was probably the standout on DW001, i still liked the new one though, even if there wasn't a real standout track.

I wasn't taken by Lehmans track on Drumworks at all. However I have ordered a new one of his on a new label which I can't seen to remember? Sounded real nice. The Compound release is certainly dark aint.

Have to say I personally think the Advent really suck a big one. They were arse in 1995/6 and still pump out mediocre shite.

    Only my opinion.
