Liked the original, but thought the remixes had a touch too much camembert about them ;)

Guy doing cheesy 80's remixes that make you really smile when you're really wankered?

    Definately :)

good track definitely, but massively over-rinsed everywhere.

personally I loved the remixes, love the combo of cheesy 80'sness and hard pumping techno.

for more like this check out "funky old cortina" on SUF (can't recall cat no.). and there's a whole load more stuff like that too. the Donna Summer white label not (honest) by rowland the bastard, that flash gordon tune on nukleuz (I think?). Funny how they all came out immediately after RAW 9 had become a big success... hmmm...

Loving the acid line in this. Still playing it fairly regularly. Got a feeling it's 61, but memory's not too hot.

the flash gordon tune was by vanguard and came out on frisbee tracks and was then picked up by a major label (virgin i think) and rereleased with a remix ...

The remix isn't as good as the original imo, but i think the element of cheese in it has opened ppl's ear to the sound. I know that since cally and juice gave it a hammering that more people are getting into the london/acid sound, and are asking for the likes of geezer, drummer, liberator to get booked at there events.
