Im getting a bit tired of using the cubase distortion plugins so does anyone have any recommendations for a new one to try either free or commercial?

i love my distortion plugins. izotope trash is good. camelphat and that camelfree one are really very special too. check ampeg too - a killer bass amp plugin...

antares tube is nice for subtle distortion & warmth
But these days I run everything through the sherman for a bit of extra heat.

Minion, CM Waveshaper, Buffer Override efx, Sony Oxford 'LMC compressor' which is an abosolute crunch plug.. .. I just sort of stick to the freeware here.
Anything that is automatable.
