Default Real hit & miss artists / producers...

There's plenty of consistantly good artists / producers out there, but who in your opinion are a bit hit and miss?

2 for me are Ignition Technician and Guy McAffer. For every quality track, there's been a lot of duffers IMO.

    i nominate myself hahah

I know what you are saying with Guy, i was looking forward to his album then when every track had pretty much the same drumloop it disappointed me.

Ignition Tech are doing some wicked stuff but I wish some of the pirate audio stuff had a bit more feeling to it rather than just the same relentless drum loop with filters ...

    Varella.
Has made some extremely clever, original techno.
And some incredible mouldy blue cheese.
    Solitary by nature.
    Isolation is the gift.
Does anyone have courage to stand apart any more?

Wouldn't it be extremely hard for any producer to be that consistent?
The best producers are consistently hard on themselves.

I actually prefer hit and miss producers.
The consistent ones tend to bore me to tears, but when I hear a producer do things completely off the wall, I love it. Whether it works or not it shows they are still playing and experimenting rather than just going through the motions.

Adam Beyer used to be amazing then he lost it for a bit but seems to be getting back to where he was.

Forgot all about him to be honest until his essential mix.
