    Default Need Help!!

    my UC33e keeps losing connection with ableton.

    i was going through my set and one minute all the faders and nobs are working fine with ableton and the next miute they just stop working. ableton still works runs fine, but the UC33e just stops working?

    what the fvck is wrong, its driving me mental!!! :grr:

    any help would be mega apprecaited.

    I ha d a scout about and couldnt find anything similar, but i suspect its to do with the USB ports.

    or your uc33e could be F'd

    Have you got a powersupply for it? try pluggin that in, and better still if you have a spare midi port try sending the controller data over a midi cable to see if the problem still exists.

    right cool, i think i'll try plugging it in, i aint tried that yet, a powersupply didnt come with the UC33e but i'll go n grab one from town now...thanks mate, i'll give that a try when i get home!! :;

    Are you running any other apps or plugins along side ableton that could be causing conflicts with the midi protocol?

    its happened to me before and it always turned out to be a dodgy cable..

    i'll try using another usb cable and also plug it a main power supply, hopefully that should work.

    yeeeey, bought a power supply and it worked fine!!

    such a simple solution, didnt even think of doing this niether...DOH!!
