Really liking the stab bass line thing and think it breaks up the tune really well but does sound abit odd, like its in the wrong places.. especially after the break.. i dont know hard to explain... tried many different things to make it fit with the rest of the tune not sure to just leave it out or not!!??

    This tune has good potential...:)

At the moment, imo, it is a very good atmospheric filler with each of your lead sounds complementing each other and the bassline grongey stabb holding the mood together very well...

Production is good too... to my 'young' ears anyway

I think you may be trying a different structure, to try and maybe stay away from cliche city or a 'cheese banger', which if you over used the bass stab slidey element it could become...

How long do you want the track to be? At the moment I think you play on holding the atmosphere after the break about a minute too long... this is because you bring the bass in to play at the end and yet my mind is looking for another two minutes of this, in anticipation...

Bring the end forward so that it kicks in after the 30secs of holding after your break... This will surprise the dancefloor and then you will have a good two minutes easy with which to shake the bones of this tune right to the end....

Subtle use of different hats would be good and of course a subtle but solid ride is needed to peak that top end...

Try these things and see what you think...

I feel this track should be brought forward so that it is at the front of the D.J.'s box and not just waiting to be used as a nice moody filler...

I do like the title by the way... as a suggestion, based on the feeling and mood this track has, why not put a question mark in?

"A Promising Start?" would adhere to the tunes identity and gives a slightly paranoid edge, which would certainly make me take more notice if I was looking down a track listing of a D.J's mix down somewhere...:dj:

Hope yer don't mind all that, as it is just a personal approach...

This is pretty cool mate....like the production, clean and punchy sounding.
i like the little bass riff,stabs.....sounds ok in certain places uve used them..though personally id use them a little bit more sparingly.
Id fill the break up a bit more, maybe add some subtle atmosphere in there?
its a good start for sure.
