*Record Shop Survey* is techno alive?

I want to do a basic survey to get an idea of the current market.
I`ve finally sorted distrib for my labels (there are now 4), and I`m now deciding which if any, go to vinyl, and which stay purely digital, as I want to work out wether to spend money on product (vinyl) or substance (artwork, promotion, artists etc).
The questions should also give us all a bit of a reality check in terms of how strong things are, I am cross posting this in various places.

Basically it`s some questions about record shopping.
If you peeps could answer some short qeustions I would be greatful.

1. Do you buy techno on vinyl?
2. Roughly how many vinyls per month? (define separate numbers for online vinyl and shop bought)
2. Where do you live? Town, Area, Country

1. Not that much anymore, i wish my bank balance could allow me to buy both digital and vinyl, but as i have to choose one or the other, i buy digital, the only time i buy vinyl these days is if it's not available in digital form.
2. on average about one record a month, usually bought locally.

4. How far is your nearest decent techno supplier? 5 miles, DanceForce Records in Boscombe, Bournemouth.

5. How many tunes do you legally download per month? None, I don't download individual tunes and have no wish to.

6. How many mixes do you download (free or not) per month? 5-10.

4. How far is your nearest decent techno supplier? Well, most of my records come out from discogs. I usually buy old records that somehow I haven't bought when they were released.

Two shops selling manily techno (RubaDub Records) & one selling all genres of dance with a techno section (23rd Precinct). Also started shopping in second hand shops - there are quite a few dotted all over the city.

Ten minute walk

Approx ten

definately in the hundreds

The online stuff is on discogs, and i ask the owner (whos a mate of mine) to bring the stuff i wana listen to into his shop
