ask Sinner :P
The sennheiser hd25's are ok, but unless you buy the expensive ones ( £130+) which I think are the hd25 plus? you have those annoying wires coming from both sides, and as i have a large swede I used to find them uncomfortable...but yep you guessed it - now I have the sonys...not sure how long they'll last - I've had them about 6 months, and i play out about 6 times a month, and they're holding up ok. I find the sound quality good , and to be honest the sennhesiers start fraying and looking sh*t after about the same time, and the end of the day you can only expect about a year out of whatever headphones I reckon
ive got a pair of sony ones....there not the expensive ones they only cost £30 from comet.........bargin!!
ive had them 6 months now and there still goin.........laffin
I have 2 pairs of Technics DJ1200's which I love and they have never let me down. I tried the Sony ones as I think they look the best but once I tried them I hated them. I thought they weighed way too much and the sound leaked out of the cups. Senn's are good sounding but the leads get tangled up all the time and they just fall to bits. The Pioneer ones I thought were too big too with that annoying cup rest thingy. If you ever go on holiday to Thailand or Japan you can get the Technics headphones like me for £55 which is half price to the UK price.

i have the sony 900's for about a year and a half...
so far so good..no complaints whatsoever.

I got the Technics as well.
Paul said it they´re undestroyable, have an amazing sound, aren´t that expensive, comfortable to wear and look alright
Got the Technics as well, and I´m very happy with them. They were my xmas gift in December 2000, and have used them on a weekly basis since, both for production and DJing. They´ve never let me down, are comfortable, light and have a good clear sound.
th sony is pretty good...but is too big and heavy.
but the bass is soooooooo GOOOOOOOOD.
HAVE FUN.
ROD
340m/s RECORDS coming soon
well the sonys have outlasted the hd25s by at least 6 months
but they're too big.
my hd25s are dead as a dodo
and they stink
they are in a pile in the corner humming.
the sonys still look fairly impressive until you put them on.
then you look like you've just robbed the bbcs wardrobe department
of space age headgear (come back blakes seven all is forgiven)
actually i was thinking of the cybermen.
the sonys only lie flat against you if you wear them the right way round.
wear them the wrong way and they stick into your chin if you put them round your neck.
technics used to be good,
what happened to that old model they made ?
i liked them
hmmm headphones , not very interesting are they?
can we discuss slipmats now?
sorry got carried away.
i have the hd25's... they are comfortable. don't like the sony's due to the space ship factor and i don't have that big of a cranium... so it looks like i am wearing a helmet. if i put them around my neck, i feel like i have been in a car accident and am wearing a neck brace.
i'll stick with the hd25's for now....
as for slipmats.... i prefer the round kind.
I use the sonys, theyve got great speakers in these phones. I know they are big and heavy and look like they were made with NASA space shuttle materials but when it boils down to the quality of sound ive heard nothing like them. Oh ya, and you also get a cool bag with them.
and as for slip mats i as well think that round work well and preferably made of felt.
Peace

The Big Silver sony's for the studio. an the cheap Techniques for djing, cause they are loud, cheap and can take a beating. also if you lose em somehow they are not that expensive to replace. Unlike those damn sony's they sound great but the plastic sucks on them. I had to replace em, cause I they plastic broke on em, very lame, especially when they are 100 somtin dollars, you could have spent on rekids.

I used a piooner headphone, but now I'm using hd25 and for me its perfect.
Ah use the pioneer headphones, and i think they are the best headphones i ave ever used. i like the chunky headphones and hated the sennheiser 25's tbh. flimsy as ****.

i use SONY MDR7506 phones, I also use them for mixing my tracks. I think they are quality.
im going to have to invest in a good pair of headphones soon i think, i just use a 30 quid pair at home, they would die in a club
