With its eighth release Maschinen Musik puts out another stunning piece of Elektrobreaks, featuring “The Raid”, an original track of label head Dr. Schmidt. On the a-side, remix duties were given to UK top electro producer Simon “The Dexorcist” Brown, who delivers a driving, bass-heavy monster, complexly layered, sci-fi inspired and filled with detail. Full of energy and variety it demonstrates what electronic music is all about.
On the flip, Dr. Schmidt’s original works its way on the percussive side of things with heavy kicks, punchy bass stabs and aggressive synths. A rolling wall of sound, that works its way through the ears right straight into the legs of the dancers. Dancefloor mayhem deluxe!
