    nice read, mark

    i wish if more djs would write about their journeys, always liked dj columns on RA. deffo more interesting than mp3/wav or vinyl vs digital debates :))

    Yes I agree, more of this kinda thing would be much better to read.

    EXCELLENT read Mark! What you've done there is seriously cool. Opens up the rather ahhhemmmm interesting world of DJing that alot of ppl DONT see! Hope you write about all your trips like this!!! :)

    Thanks for the nice words people, I think I'll be doing this more often, but only when a more interesting trip comes up as I find UK/Western Europe pretty run of the mill these days, and even Poland and Czech I find quite tame.. I felt the need to write about this one though as so much happened over the space of 24 hours, so many things of interest to write about, and I truly was in the presence of the pioneers of the underground scene in St Petersburg.. let's see if we have another trip like this again soon :)

    @RDR: Looking forward to sinking some beers, playing some choons, maybe smoking one, not looking forward to the drive from east anglia to Hull or any idiots that might try and tell me to play "harder, faster" :S I hope the latter won't happen :D can you send me your number BTW.. ta..

    Good read that. I agree with Koma, more DJ travel stories are needed. Russia looks class.
