Default [nottingham] Noodle & Data Trace Records BBQ - 14/06

An all day BBQ affair, with the Data-Trace Records posse down from Manchester. Rupert Glover's Data Trace Label has been getting support from the likes of Dave Clarke, Radioactiveman and Warlock thanks to the diverse and immense line-up of electro-bass producers he's signed up. Smashback (Bass Gun Records) and Teutonic Kaboom provided the sound track for the 1st release, with epic remixes coming from Cynthia Stern, Lief Ryan and Subhead's Jason Leach. We welcome Glove:r, Smashback and Teutonic Kaboom to Noodle, BBQ style, for an afternoon of bass, bleeps and wonk! We also have new Data-Trace signing, Mazzula, from Stoke's Load event. He'll be bringing Digital Video Filth along for the ride, plus we also have live sets from Solen and Greyground, and DJ Sets from Keir Hardy (Leeds), Foo (91 set), Felson (delta-9 // Rezonance FM), Ally Reilly, Margovan, The Outsider, DJ Weiss and Matt Hinton. Big!!

some sets from Noodle last weekend as promised....

    http://www.3sss.co.uk/solen.mp3

Wicked set from the Solen boys. Glitchy, broken and off-beat. A touch of BMB about. Oooh the irony!

Data Trace tore Noodle a new ass! Thanks to my virtual memory being a bit shit, my lappy stopped recording mid way through the night. Here we have half of Teutonic Kaboom, Smashback and then Mazzula up until the power cut (my fault as usual. gotta learnt o stop being trigger happy with the smoke machine!!)

Anyway, power cuts aside, it was maximum wobbage all round. More soon!!!

one more for your ears. Ally Reilly b2b Felson
