CD probably has the best sound quality cause it dosent pick up al the crap on a vinyl (dust.. or whatever)

This dosent mean that cds are betta.. i prefer mixing with vinyl 100%

cd's are better quality without a shadow of a doubt, BUT i would never mix cd's ala carl cox !!! even if you could get the same tunes on cd as you could on record, for me it would be records all the way baby yeagh !!!!!!

Given the option, vinyl each and every time. Its more manual, even with the CDJ1000's it still doesnt compare. hing is though, alot of the stuff I get is on CDR only, so you sometimes have no choice.

CDs can be handy for alot of stuff, with the CDJs you can edit on the fly and pull off loops of stuff that wouldnt otherwise be possible, again, on the fly.

I'm a CDaphobe though, CDRs always skip all over the place for me and make thats a pain in the arse obv.

i think vinyl has a hell of a lot of life in it yet.
