Yep, you heard it right... after near on five years of being at the top of its game in Manchester, Sequence opens its doors for one final time. The reasons... to be completely honest, nothing too groundbreaking really. After growing the event from it's humble beginnings at The Attic to going on to program shows for over 2,500 people at The Warehouse Project to promoting huge monthly parties at The Paradise Factory and Sankeys we believe that we've taken Sequence as far as it can go - we've had everyone who is anyone play at our night, something we are immensely proud about!

We're also itching to get stuck into various new projects which have been steadily under development for a while now. It's all a bit hush-hush at the moment, but in 2009 expect to see some of the biggest and most cutting-edge events of electronic music that Manchester will ever see, promoted under our Computer Controlled guise.

We've programmed the finale with a huge selection of our favourite artists - just those who we think have done the business, from past to present, with sets from Surgeon, Altern 8, Marcel Dettmann, Redshape, Tim Exile, Ed DMX, Rob Hall and Mark 'Turbo' Turner. Plus support from the current Sequence residents, Computer Controlled and P45, opening up the night in the usual killer style.

So this is it... it's sad to say, but the end is nigh! And it's been an ace journey, hope everyone has enjoyed it as much as we have. Big thanks to all the artists who have travelled from all over the globe to play for us, and to everyone who's made it down to the club and helped to make it what it is today... hope you can all make it for one final rave up!

    Cheers, Steve
