    Default Fruityloops Help

    aaaaaaargh stuck again

I have downloaded loads of different samples, and want to use them in fruity.....

Now the .wav files are easy, and seem to work fine, but the mpeg audio files dont appear in fruity, and the midi files I have appear, but dont have any sound when I drag and drop them.....

anyone have any idea how to either...

change the settings on fruity so I can play em all???

    or

change the files so they are all .wav files???

    cheers in advance

fruity only handles wav files, it wont show mp3's. The midi you will need to drag onto a channel that already has a sound source assigned to it, whether it is a sample, or a vsti.

Yep. A midi file is like a music sheet, all u have is info, no sounds.. so u need 2 address a sound(s) 2 play that particular musical sheet.

As 2 yer mpeg files u probably need 2 convert'em 2 wavs as said!
