    Default Goodbye The End

The End, one of the best clubs in the uk, and one of the only commercially successful clubs that supports underground music, is going.

i used to go there a lot in the 90s when i lived in london. saw jeff mills and laurent garnier play two of the best sets i've ever heard while there. gene farris, dj sneak, etc.

was a great space with good sound for the time. last time i was there was in 1999, though, so don't really know how it's been since.

Was never mad on their soundsystem. Plus it caused my tinnitus. Feckers.

Was a great club though, and had belting good music.

    Will be missed.

Well, problem was they matched the bass bins with the mid-high bins, cabinet for cabinet, which is overkill, but looks better. They could have easily had half as many mid-high cabs and it woulda been fine.

Was always engineered nice in the early years though.

had a chance to check it out last year when i visited London.

There was something good about the music system, but in terms of the crowd, it seemed like there were way too many guys and too little girls!

Music was good though, saw Carl Craig rip it up.

Seems like it's not closing now the people who bought it have decided it's not the right financial climate for redevelopment after all so are keeping it going as a club for the time being. (that's the rumor anyway)

Struggle to think what else that place could be other than a club.
Even if its central london, its still an undeground warehouse down an alley.
