    Default Ableton + Traktor Help!

Oh wise ones of BOA, I come to you humble and without hope......

Can anyone help me with our current dilema. Basically, me and a mate will be gigging soon and want our setup as follows:-

One laptop with EDIROL USB soundcard running Traktor 3 synced via ethernet to another lappy with Audio Kontrol 1, running Ableton 7. Only problem is, I'm ****in clueless. I've read a few 'tutorials' but they dont really seem to help much.

Any of you guys have experience with this. I've heard about MIDI over IP but could do with some guidance as to how to proceed.

    Thanks

Yeah thats definately something I'll be trying but haven't got a MIDI cable to hand. I managed to get them talking using a demo of IP-MIDI which transfers MIDI data through the LAN connection.

Thing is though, Live recieves the MIDI Clock data from Traktor (which is the master) but the tempo fluctuates. For example if I set the BPM to 130 in Traktor, Live will sync its tempo to 130 but then it will drop to 129.49 and then go back up to 131.42 etc......It doesnt seem to want to stay on target which could make things a bit hard when performing.

    Any ideas?

I don't think Traktor 3 can be set as a slave....
