Ortofon NightClubs are good enough, IMO

Ortofon sp? nightclub E needles sound better than the S ones ...
just a quick word of advice - i learnt this of some dmc bloke in the US. if you've got s shaped tone arms, don't use concordes.
yeah? why? what shape are 1210's arms anyway ... is that an S?
technics are an s shaped tone arm, but yeah i have never heard concords being a problem before, but as i dont dj much i dont know from personal experienceOriginally Posted by Basil Rush

Best needles ive EVER used.
Best anti skip out ther and also the loudest.... 9.5mV comparred with 6mV of most. Sound quality is very good also and ther not tooooo expensive...
try www.sapphires.co.uk ---- they are usually cheapest for the pair.
Basically on some S shaped arms if u look carefully & the needle/ cartridge looks slightly tilted to the inside then u need a different cartridge, Why? cause it will giv ya a bigger wear on the records, also the picking up and the attack of the needle over the groove will b slightly less than what should b!... If this happens with yer decks make sure u get a Cartridge that u can tweak the cartridge position in order 2 have the outward screw slightly more up front that the inwards 1 which sould b on a position a little behing the outwards 1!
Hope that made any sense! not easy 2 explain this in english and without images!

PS - by screw I meant the 1s that attach the cartridge 2 the headshell!
